Product Packaging: Primary Packaging: Each product should be sealed in individual containers (e.g., bottles, jars, sachets, or pouches) with tamper-evident seals to ensure product integrity. Ensure all labels are in both English and Portuguese, following ANVISA (Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency) regulations. Secondary Packaging: Products should be grouped in small boxes or cartons based on size and quantity to prevent damage. Each box should have cushioning material (e.g., bubble wrap, packing peanuts) to avoid movement during transit. Tertiary Packaging (Shipping Box): Use a sturdy corrugated box for shipping. Ensure that the box is moisture-resistant and strong enough to support stacking. Add proper internal cushioning (e.g., foam or air pillows) to avoid compression during handling. 2. Labeling Requirements: Product Labels: Include a description of the product, nutritional information, usage instructions, lot number, manufacturing date, and expiration date in Portuguese. Clearly state any necessary certifications or compliance with Brazilian regulations (e.g., ANVISA approval). Shipping Label: Include both the sender's and recipient's address (with the recipient's CNPJ/CPF for customs clearance). Include details such as weight, dimensions, and contents for customs purposes. Clearly mark if the package contains any fragile materials or special handling requirements. 3. Documentation: Invoice: A commercial invoice with product details, including value, weight, and origin. Packing List: Itemize the contents, quantities, and box dimensions. Certificate of Origin: Required for customs clearance in Brazil. Health Certificate: Depending on the product, you may need a health certificate or other documentation showing compliance with Brazilian regulations. 4. Palletizing (Optional for Large Shipments): If shipping large quantities, palletize products for better handling and stability. Use shrink wrap and banding for securing products on the pallet. Pallet dimensions: standard (40" x 48") or compatible with shipping company requirements. 5. Shipping Considerations: Mode of Transport: Choose between air freight (faster but more expensive) or sea freight (more economical but slower). Customs and Duties: Research Brazilian customs duties and import taxes. Use an experienced freight forwarder familiar with Brazilian import regulations. Insurance: Ensure the shipment is fully insured against damage, loss, or delay.
